The Afghani Line

Afghani is one of the two foundational landrace indicas (the other being Hindu Kush, which it borders) — bred for centuries in the mountains of Afghanistan before any commercial seedline existed. The character is hash-and-earth on the nose, heavy on the body, dense and slow on the read. Northern Lights, Bubba Kush, Granddaddy Purple, Master Kush, and most of the modern indica shelf trace back here at some depth.
